Quick Verdict
RingConn Gen 3 is $349 in the U.S. with no subscription. RingConn's own product page listed $349 for Future Silver, Royal Gold and Matte Black and $369 for Brushed Silver and Brushed Rose Gold when we checked on October 17, 2026. The exact Amazon US listing we link (B0GVST5CKY, Future Silver, Size 9) also showed $349.00, In Stock, sold by RingConn Official Store. Neither page showed a coupon code or a sale price, so treat $349 as the regular price, not a deal.
What Gen 3 adds over Gen 2: a vibration motor for health alerts and reminders, RingConn's new vascular health trend insights, up to 14 days of battery (vibration off) and a universal charging case. What it does not do yet: RingConn's own FAQ says Gen 3 does not vibrate for messages or alarms, so it is not a silent wake-up alarm today.
Who should pick Gen 2 instead: RingConn's FAQ says Gen 2 is “ideal if sleep and snoring risk monitoring are your main focus.” It is $299 on ringconn.com and the Amazon US listing we link, and it is slightly thinner. Gen 2 Air ($199 on ringconn.com) is RingConn's budget model; we mention it for comparison only and do not link a store listing for it.

Why this matters: some review spec tables quote much higher Gen 3 prices. TechRadar's Gen 3 review, for example, lists $426 / $454 in its specification and price sections. That does not match RingConn's U.S. store ($349 / $369) or the Amazon US listing we checked ($349.00), so use the official price. RingConn notes that “U.S. pricing [is] shown. Regional prices may vary.”

*Gen 2 and Gen 2 Air thickness, weight and battery figures are from Gadgets & Wearables' published Gen 3 vs Gen 2 vs Gen 2 Air spec table; Gen 3 figures are from RingConn's Gen 3 specifications. RingConn says Gen 3 “uses a different sizing system,” so do not reuse a Gen 2 size — order the free Gen 3 sizing kit. The Gen 3 store offers sizes 6–15 in its size menu (the comparison table on the same page says 6–14), so check the size chart for your size.
- Choose Gen 3 if you want vibration nudges (sedentary, battery and wellness alerts), vascular-trend insights and the longest battery, and the $50 premium over Gen 2 is fine.
- Choose Gen 2 if your priority is sleep and sleep-apnea-risk tracking, you want the thinner ring, and you would rather save $50.
- Gen 2 Air is the lowest-cost RingConn at $199, but it is stainless steel rather than titanium and, per Gadgets & Wearables' spec table, lacks the sleep apnea pattern feature. We do not link a store listing for it.
- Upgrading from Gen 2? RingConn says your history stays in your RingConn App account, and the Gen 2 charging case can charge Gen 3 only “if the ring size fits inside the case”; the Gen 3 case works with all RingConn rings.
RingConn Gen 3 Trade-In: How the $60–$70 Credit Works
RingConn's Gen 3 product page includes a Trade In selector (“Save up to $70.00 on your new ring”). The trade-in values listed when we checked on October 17, 2026:
Scroll horizontally to compare all columns →
| Device you trade in | Credit listed on ringconn.com |
|---|---|
| RingConn Gen 1, Gen 2 or Gen 2 Air | $70.00 |
| Oura Ring (Gen 1/2/3/4) | $60.00 |
| Samsung Galaxy Ring | $60.00 |
| Ultrahuman (Ring / Air / Pro) | $60.00 |
| Galaxy Watch or Apple Watch | $60.00 |
- Select your old device in the Trade-In section of the Gen 3 product page and enter its serial number.
- Proceed to checkout to get your unique Trade-In Code. RingConn says to complete payment within 15 minutes or the code expires.
- Send the old device to RingConn within 30 days of receiving your new ring, using the return address list RingConn emails you. Each device (serial number) can be traded in only once.
- Erase your personal data first; RingConn says it will not return items sent with the trade-in device.
The trade-in runs through ringconn.com checkout; it is not an Amazon promotion. RingConn's terms differ by device (for example, its RingConn-device terms mention deactivation of the old ring after the trade-in), so read the “Learn More” terms on the product page before you order. Whether the credit combines with any other RingConn promotion: Unconfirmed.
Shipping, Warranty and Returns
- Shipping: “Free Shipping in the U.S.,” delivered “3–5 Business Days After Shipment”; international fees apply.
- Warranty: “1-Year Warranty (Non-EEA)” — this covers U.S. buyers — and “2-Year Warranty (EEA Countries).”
- Returns: “14-Day Returns & Exchanges,” with conditions; sizing kits are excluded.
- HSA/FSA: ringconn.com offers checkout with HSA/FSA funds through its payment partner; eligibility depends on your plan.
- Amazon purchases follow Amazon's return policy and the seller's terms shown on the listing, not ringconn.com's 14-day policy.
Accuracy: What Independent Testing Found
RecentProfit has not lab-tested Gen 3. The figures below are Gadgets & Wearables' published results from its Gen 3 review, compared against a Garmin Forerunner and Whoop. They are one reviewer's tests, not a clinical study.
Scroll horizontally to compare all columns →
| Test (Gadgets & Wearables) | Garmin | RingConn Gen 3 | Difference / note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outdoor run, May 28 — distance | 4.96 km | 4.88 km | −1.6% |
| Outdoor run, May 28 — avg / max HR | 135 / 147 bpm | 136 / 156 bpm | Average close; max ran high |
| Outdoor run, May 25 — distance | 4.03 km | 4.07 km | +1.0% |
| Outdoor run, May 25 — avg / max HR | 134 / 156 bpm | 141 / 167 bpm | Both read high |
| 14 nights — average resting HR | 47 bpm | 48 bpm | Whoop: 51 bpm |
| 14 nights — average HRV | 38 ms | 36 ms | Whoop: 33 ms |
| 14 nights — sleep length correlation | 91% (with Garmin) | — | 94% with Whoop |
The same review found step counts “consistently within a 3-4% margin of error.” The takeaway: Gen 3 is solid for passive tracking (sleep, resting heart rate, daily trends) and casual runs, but, like most smart rings, exercise heart rate — especially maximum heart rate — can read high. Use a chest strap or sports watch if workout heart-rate accuracy matters. RingConn states Gen 3 “is not a medical device,” and its vascular trends are “trend insights, not single readings” — it is not a blood pressure monitor.
Vibration Alerts: What Works Today
- Works now: RingConn's app lets you switch vibration on or off for Battery Reminder, Sedentary Reminder and Wellness alerts (Gadgets & Wearables hands-on). RingConn's V4.3.0 update notes add vibration when a manually started exercise begins and when heart-rate, blood-oxygen or blood-pressure assessments finish.
- Not available: RingConn's Gen 3 FAQ: “Can Gen 3 vibrate for messages or alarms? No.” There is no wake-up vibration alarm or custom timed reminder.
- Planned, not promised: Gadgets & Wearables reports RingConn has indicated vibration alarm features are planned through OTA updates in Q3–Q4 2026, with timing subject to the official rollout. Do not buy Gen 3 for a silent alarm until it ships.
- Battery trade-off: RingConn rates 10–12 days with vibration on versus 11–14 days with it off.
Is RingConn Gen 3 Worth It vs Oura and Galaxy Ring?
The biggest cost difference is the subscription. Oura Ring 5 starts at $399 on ouraring.com and full insights need Oura Membership ($5.99/month or $69.99/year in the U.S. after the free first month). Samsung lists Galaxy Ring from $299.99 before trade-in and it works only with Android phones. RingConn Gen 3 is $349 with no fee on iPhone (iOS 17+) or Android (10+). For the full no-subscription ranking, see our best smart rings with no subscription guide; for each brand's current official offers, see the RingConn, Oura, Ultrahuman, Amazfit and Samsung pages.
